Senior Accounting Analyst - Hybrid

Pay Rate Range: $46.66/hr. - $56.66/hr.

Schedule: Hybrid, 2 days in office

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our accounting team. This role involves a balanced focus on General Ledger accounting and Cash accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple accounting processes with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

* General Ledger Accounting (50%):

o Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts ensuring accuracy and completeness.

o Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.

o Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.

o Analyze account variances and investigate discrepancies.

o Support the preparation of financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards.

o Coordinate with internal and external auditors as required.

* Cash Accounting (50%):

o Monitor and record daily cash transactions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and international funds transfers.

o Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

o Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies.

o Collaborate with accounts payable/receivable teams for accurate cash accounting.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

* Proficiency in MS Excel.

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.

* Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

Preferred:

* CPA or CMA certification.

* Exposure to ERP systems such as NetSuite and automation tools.
